The Felbro Food Story
Felbro Food Products, Inc. was founded in 1946 by two brothers, Maury and Sid Feldmar. Both men had extensive experience in the food industry prior to starting their own manufacturing company.
The original plant was located in a small 500 square foot building in Culver City, California. Stressing quality, the Feldmar brothers started initially with the production of fruit punch, lemonade and other non-carbonated drink bases. Continuing to grow and enlarge their facilities they added fountain syrups, sno-cone syrups and ice cream toppings. By 1973, having outgrown the Culver City headquarters, all production was moving to a new plant and sales office in Los Angeles.
Presently located in a modern 31,000 square foot building at 5700 West Adams Boulevard, Felbro Food Products, Inc. is currently providing over 600 different line items. Included in this vast array of products are such things as gourmet sauces, soup bases, pancake syrups, flavorings, extracts, and food colorings.
With a reputation built on quality, Felbro's food products are presently handled by distributors large and small across the United States and overseas.
